Release film, also known as stripping film, separation film, or anti-stick film, is a film coated with a release agent (such as silicone, fluorine, non-silicone, etc.) on the surface of the substrate. Its primary function is to protect and separate other materials, preventing them from adhering to each other or becoming contaminated, and allowing them to be easily stripped away when needed.

Release films are typically made with PET (polyester), PE (polyethylene), PP (polypropylene), and other materials as substrates. Depending on the type of release agent, the material and thickness of the substrate, and the release force, release films can be classified into many different types to meet various application requirements.
